Questions & Answers

Straight Answers on the Issues That Matter

We believe voters deserve clear, honest answers. Here's where OneBC stands.

OneBC will eliminate the Step Code that is raising housing costs with unnecessary green building requirements, and block municipal rent control programs that disincentivize development and new units being put up for rent. We believe removing government-imposed barriers is the fastest path to more homes.
OneBC will allow private healthcare to operate alongside a fully-funded public system, and shift administration and HR spending to frontline employees and resources. More options and less bureaucracy means shorter wait times for every British Columbian.
OneBC will eliminate safe supply and drug consumption programs, cancel all new drug consumption sites and convert existing ones into recovery centres, and roll back all decriminalization programs. We will invest in involuntary drug rehab and housing for the severely addicted — because real compassion means recovery, not enabling.
OneBC will cut every tax bracket by 25% — including corporate — reduce the PST by 2%, approve a pipeline to Prince Rupert or Kitimat to get Canadian energy to foreign markets, and audit BC's 176,000+ regulations to cut bureaucratic bloat. Capital needs the right signals to return to BC.
OneBC will bring back standardized testing focused on reading, writing, and mathematics; remove SOGI-123 and politicized content from classrooms; and institute a Parental Bill of Rights guaranteeing informed consent and classroom transparency for parents of minor-age students.
OneBC will crack down on repeat and violent offenders, instruct prosecutors to treat past convictions as indicators of future danger, protect our ports from organized international criminal elements smuggling drugs and firearms, and ban mask-wearing during protests.
OneBC's platform is built on fiscal discipline. We will balance the budget within 4 years, aim for surplus budgets, and direct a portion of surpluses toward debt repayment. Lower taxes and fewer regulations will attract investment and grow the tax base — the right way to fund public services.
